About the objects
What are our objects made from?
Handcrafted from Jesmonite, a water-based composite material chosen for its durability, minimal waste, and lower environmental impact compared to traditional casting resins. Each piece is carefully cast, sanded, sealed and polished by hand.
Are your products handmade?
Yes. Every piece is handcrafted in small batches, one at a time. Variations in colour, pattern and finish such as small air bubbles and dust particles are part of the hand-making process.
This make each piece unique with no two exactly alike with slight differences are natural characteristics of handcrafted products are not considered flaws.
How should I care for my object?
To keep your piece looking its best:
- Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth.
- Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners.
- Do not place in the dishwasher.
- Keep away from prolonged exposure to water.
While a strong and durable material, each piece is handmade therefore please handle with care.
Are your products food-safe, waterproof or heat proof?
No, our objects are primarily designed for decorative use only. Our objects are not considered food-safe, waterproof, or heatproof therefore not suitable in wet areas such as kitchen and bathroom sink areas.
Jesmonite is naturally a porous material, therefore each piece is sealed with an acrylic-based protective coating to improve resistance to moisture, stains, and everyday wear while enhancing a glossy finish.
To further assist protecting your pieces and the surfaces it sits on, all objects are finished with a cork backing.
About custom orders
Can I request a custom colour?
Not currently taking custom orders, however it is something we will look to in the near future.
About shipping & delivery
Do you ship internationally?
We currently only ship within Australia. If you're located elsewhere and would like to place an order, please get in touch.
How much is shipping?
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and the size of your order.
When will my order be dispatched?
Ready-made items are typically dispatched within 2 business days.
About returns
Can I return my order?
We accept returns for damaged or faulty items. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number. We'll work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Because our pieces are handmade, we cannot accept returns for minor variations in colour, pattern or finish.
